Service Description
Course Topics Covered:
- Picking hardware and software for your drone project based on budget and intended use constraints.
- Basic components required for a manual control system.
- Components (HW and SW) required for autonomous control, whether it be a waypoint mission or a more complex sensor driven flight.
- Hardware design of the drone
- Learning QGroundControl for initializing your drone's flight controller, creating a waypoint mission, checking system status, etc.
Final Project:
- Write a simple offboard computer program to drive your autonomous flight and simulate in Gazebo via preprogrammed waypoints. Add a 2D LiDAR for collision avoidance!

When selecting your hour slots, please only choose a 1 hour block for any given day. This will give you time to absorb the concepts given during each hour session and time to perform programming/homework problems. Also, you don’t have to book all 5 hr time slots at once. You can select them as time progresses if you wish.
